Flash Fiction. It is defined as fiction that is extremely brief, typically only a few hundred words or fewer in its entirety. Generally I tend to go for something a little longer, usually around a thousand words. I rarely host my own because I’m a bit flaky when it comes to remembering to post things on a regular deadline, but I like to participate if the prompt catches my imagination.
This page contains links to my various flash pieces, separated by genre or author in the case of guest posts. These are generally barfed up quickly, depending on the terms of the prompt, and are meant to be fun little exercises. If you see a prompt you like in the links, link your own contribution in the comments!
