Teaser Tuesday – Subject 5691: Petri

With NaNoWriMo finally over and edits on the horizon, I wanted to revisit each of my current works a snippet at a time. First up is the book that started it all. Subject 5691: Petri began as a flash serial based around a photo prompt. That first small snippet, much like Petri, took on a mind of its own and became the start of not one but two series: The Edgeworld Chronicles and the Wolves of Sorrow.

Tuesday Teaser: Petri

Petri is snug in the hands of the editor and I’m working on a few shorts to promote my favorite sci/fi space boys. I won’t have an estimated publish date on Petri until I get an eye on the edits, but I still have an eye toward spring. Below are two snippets. The first is from Petri, a scene right after Petri and Grokhaar’s first meeting. The second is from the first of the shorts with a much, much younger Grokhaar. Enjoy! Petri Update: Summer Edition

It’s been several busy months since I’ve posted an update to my favorite space couple. Most of the new material needed to flesh out the front end of the novel is now complete and I can work towards weaving in existing material. This process has been slower than I’d like, but I confess to enjoying the summer weather (and new book releases) a bit too much to have proper motivation.
